Pengaruh Lingkungan Keluarga dan Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi

Abstract

. Inadequate family support and a lack of intrinsic learning drive are factors that potentially hinder students from achieving maximum learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effect of family environment and learning motivation, both partially and simultaneously, on student learning achievement in the Economics subject at SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya. The study employed a quantitative survey method with an explanatory design. The population consisted of 188 Grade XI Economics students, all of whom were included as the sample through a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5) that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 31. The results indicate that: (1) family environment has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement (t = 4.925; p < 0.001; SE = 14.42%); (2) learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement and is the most dominant predictor (t = 11.189; p < 0.001; β = 0.602; SE = 43.65%); and (3) both variables simultaneously exert a positive and significant effect (F = 127.917; p < 0.001; R² = 0.580). These findings affirm that improving student learning achievement requires synergy between optimizing the family environment as a psychological ecosystem and strengthening learning motivation as the students' internal driver
