Peran Kepemimpinan dalam Pembagian Tugas dan Tanggung Jawab pada Kegiatan Economic Care Day di SMA Negeri 6 Merangin

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of leadership in the division of tasks and responsibilities during the Economic Care Day activity at SMA Negeri 6 Merangin. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that leadership plays a very important role in organizing the committee structure, coordinating members, and ensuring the implementation of activities runs effectively. The leader implemented a participatory and communicative leadership style that encourages cooperation, responsibility, and discipline among the committee. Although obstacles such as workload imbalance and suboptimal initial coordination were found, these obstacles were overcome through open communication and direct leadership involvement. This finding strengthens the theory of participatory leadership which emphasizes the importance of leader involvement in every stage of the activity to improve organizational effectiveness, especially in the context of non-academic activities in schools.
