Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran RADEC Berbantuan Media Infografis Terhadap Critical Thinking Siswa

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low critical thinking ability of students. This study was conducted to determine the effect of implementing the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create (RADEC) learning model assisted by infographic media on students' critical thinking abilities in economics subjects in class X of SMAN 10 Tasikmalaya. The method used was a quasi-experimental research design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were classes X-1 to X-12. The research sample used was class X-2 as the experimental class and X-3 as the control class with a non-probability sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling. Based on the results of the study, it explains that there is a significant difference in increasing students' critical thinking abilities using the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create (RADEC) learning model assisted by infographic media on financial institution material, where the average post-test score is superior compared to the average post-test using conventional learning models in the control class. Thus, it can be concluded that the RADEC learning model assisted by Infographic Media has an effect on students' critical thinking abilities
